Berg om Berg | Ten Year Anniversary

Join us in the celebration of the Berg Gallery’s 10th anniversary in an exhibition titled “Berg om Berg”. In a slightly thematic group presentation, the gallery’s 22 represented artists show mainly new (and a few historical works) in a free interpretation of the theme “Berg”. The exhibition opens on Saturday May 16th 12:00 - 16:00, and you will meet most of the participating artists at the vernissage.

Berg Gallery opened its first solo exhibition (in our first premises) at Birger Jarlsgatan 67 in February 2016, moved to Stockholm Gallery District in March 2019 and to the current location on Hudiksvallsgatan 8 two years later. Since the opening, we have been showing more than eighty artists in the gallery - some in multiple gallery solo exhibitions, art fairs and group shows, some in just a single group show.

We are truly grateful to all visitors, art lovers, collectors, institutions, museums, art critics and everyone else who has seen the gallery's exhibitions and supported the gallery through the years. And most importantly, without our artists hard work, commitment, skills and attitude, the gallery would never be where we are today.

In the 10th anniversary exhibition we will present works by Mats Bergquist, Inger Bergström, Amalia Bille, Ellen Ehk, Pauline Fransson, Andreas Glad, Mia E Göransson, Daniel EKTA Götesson, Hilda Hellström, Ebba Johansson, Ivar Lövheim, Mårten Medbo, Sara Möller, John Rainey, Raha Rastifard, Viktor Rosdahl, Paul-Robin Sjöström, Carl Richard Söderström, Dea Svensson, Elizabeth Thun, Hendrik Zimmer and Markus Åkesson.
