David Taylor | New Works

7 April - 14 May 2022
Overview
Working interdisciplinary as an artist, designer and craftsman, David Taylor straddles the line between functionality and concept. His material of choice is metal, often used in combination with other materials, lights and prefabricated profiles. Currently on show at the gallery is a series of works from his ongoing project "Looking at Nature" in which light, time and topographical elements inform his process.

David Taylor (b. 1966) lives and works in Mellösa, Sörmland. He holds a master's degree in metal design from Konstfack. Taylor has been recognized for his work both nationally and internationally, and is represented at Nationalmuseum, Stockholm; Röhsska Museet, Gothenburg; Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein (DE); and the Public Art Agency of Sweden, among others.
