Jeroen Erosie b. 1976
Biography
Jeroen Erosie is a Dutch artist based in Eindhoven whose practice has evolved from graffiti into an abstract exploration of geometric and fluid forms. Starting from the intimate lines of his sketchbooks, Erosie’s practice unfolds into prints, canvases, drawings, objects, and collages. His works capture a paused instant in a restless dynamic, where shapes, lines, and textures shift, collide, and reconfigure in continuous transformation.
Jeroen Erosie (b. 1976, Eindhoven) graduated with honours from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam in 1999. He started his artistic career as an editorial illustrator with a background in hand lettering, calligraphy and graffiti. His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States, at institutions such as MIMA Museum in Brussels, Somerset House in London, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven. He has also created large scale public commissions for city walls across the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, and Switzerland.
