During the summer months, Cilla Ramnek's gigantic Flygande Mattan ('Magic Carpet') will be on display at Sergels torg in central Stockholm. Ramnek first presented her idea in a miniature, perler bead mosaic. The finished work measures 580 square meters and consists of 6 336 floor tiles in bright colours.
The public installation willl be on view until 18 August 2021.
