The City of Stockholm began acquiring art over a hundred years ago and is one of Sweden's largest art collections in public ownership. Today it consists of 32,568 works and includes works in various techniques such as painting, graphics, drawing, photography and sculpture.
The current exhibition at Liljevalchs+ features a sparse selection of the works that were purchased by Stockholm Konst during the years 2020 and 2021.
Participating artists: Muhammad Ali, Anna Camner, Leif Engström, Ferdinand Evaldsson, Lars Kleen, Sara Möller, Elin Odentia, Stina Persson and Raha Rastifard.
