Anders Pehrson (1912-1982), was born in Gothenburg where he married Karin Ney in 1941
After taking an engineering degree in Gothenburg, he worked as head of design at Philips AB in 1952 to 1963.
In 1964 he took over Ateljé Lyktan. He was fantastic in PR and made both the company and Åhus well known. During hisyears, Ateljé Lyktan adopted a more industrial and large-scale production. His philosophy of furnishing a room with many different lighting points, resulted in a wide product range where grouping into product families was very important.
He designed the classic ceiling light Bumling in 1968, but also the fixtures Circling, Crystal, Forsythia, Jasmine, Juniper, Cannon, King, Knubbling, Oak, Queen, Rocket, Simris, Sovo, Supertube and Tube.
