An almost cubistic set including a vase and a low bowl designed by Wilhelm Bjerke Petersen for Rorstrand in 1951-1952. It is made in earthenware and chamotte and has a glossy maroon glaze and is part of the "Facett" series.
The Swedish Danish painter and ceramicist Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen worked for Rorstrand in 1951-52. His production included unique art pottery,mostly in chamotte, and the series Abstrakta and Facett.
